Law enforcement officers detained the son of the Deputy Interior Minister of Russia Igor Zubov, suspected of giving a bribe. This is reported by TASS with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.

“Law enforcement officers detained Denis Zubov, the son of Deputy Interior Minister Igor Zubov, in the Samara region. He is suspected in the case of giving a bribe, ”said the source of the agency.

This information was confirmed in his Telegram channel by State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein. According to him, together with Zubov, the president of the Dynamo-Samara mini-football club, Igor Karpov, and the former director of MO NTP LLC, Vasily Yermakov, were detained.

The alleged amount of the bribe is 18 million rubles, which Zubov allegedly handed over to the FSB officer.

A few days earlier, a police lieutenant colonel, deputy head of the police department for the Ramenskoye district, was detained in Moscow. He is suspected of mediation in bribery in the amount of more than 17 million rubles for assistance in stopping the criminal prosecution of the management of the investment and construction company ISK West. If his guilt is proven, he will be punished, and his leader will be brought to disciplinary responsibility.
