Russia - In the Vologda region, people helped a family with six children

Russia (bbabo.net), - Residents of the Vologda Oblast immediately responded to the misfortune that a large family fell into. Mom died in a car accident. Moreover, the smallest child in it is eight months old. Not only ordinary people responded, but also officials.

This story literally shocked everyone. In early February, a serious traffic accident occurred on the 512th kilometer of the Moscow-Arkhangelsk highway. The 35-year-old driver drove into the oncoming lane to overtake, but did not have time to complete the maneuver and crashed into a car that was moving in the opposite direction.

Three people died, including a resident of the village of Kurkino, a mother of many children. As it turned out, that day she went to get a driver's license. She left her husband and six children at home. The youngest girl was only eight months old and was breastfed. The eldest daughter is studying at a technical school, three more children are at school, and one girl goes to kindergarten.

A large family lives in their own house with stove heating. And then there was the renovation. Therefore, the rooms are cold and damp. Plus, the head of the family was out of work. When they found out about all this at the non-profit humanitarian aid center "From the World on a Thread", its employees immediately turned to the residents of the Vologda region. And many immediately responded. They called, asked how to help, transferred money or brought baby food.

- This is the first time when there were so many responses, - said the head of the humanitarian aid center Lyudmila Ledovskaya. - We have more than 80 volunteers, and we try to help those who need it most. The house of this family is being renovated, we have calculated everything and are now preparing an estimate. It is necessary to repair two rooms, to insulate them. You can make another one upstairs, because there are a lot of children.

It was not only ordinary people who responded. The head of the Vologda region, Sergei Zhestyannikov, promised to provide support in the repair of the heating system, assistance in connecting gas under the after-gasification program and employment of the father, Nikolai Alekseevich.

The family has already received material assistance from educational organizations attended by children, as well as from the district administration. As Olga Smirnova, Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Vologda Oblast, said, social workers draw up state social assistance, and dad will be supported in collecting documents for issuing a survivor's pension for children. "The possibility of concluding a social contract is also being considered," she said.

Together we can do a lot, and most importantly, the family will not be left alone with their grief and the problems that hit her so suddenly.
