Now only relatives of disabled children under the age of four can receive free bed and meals in a hospital. And older children - only for medical reasons.

After the adoption of the law, this will affect all minors with the status of a disabled person.

In connection with the consideration of the amendments, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin recalled that often a disabled child needs long-term treatment in the hospital, and dad do not have the means to be there. But children with disabilities in such a situation especially need the support and help of loved ones.
