“Yes, in one application it is allowed to indicate several types of rehabilitation means, and then several electronic certificates will be recorded on the MIR card,” the agency’s official Telegram channel says.

The fact is that the electronic certificate is linked to the Mir bank card, and the amount allocated to a person with a disability is already attached to it, which can be spent on a specific product - for example, a wheelchair for the disabled, a hearing aid and others.

Such an opportunity for citizens with disabilities appeared at the end of September last year. Earlier, the Ministry of Labor reported that in 2022 at least 20% of technical rehabilitation equipment will be purchased using an electronic certificate. Moreover, at the first stage, it is planned to use it to provide citizens with disabilities with serial products, in the future it will be possible to purchase custom-made ones, for example, prostheses.

You can buy a technical rehabilitation device using an electronic certificate only in those stores that accept payment for it. Their list is constantly expanding. A catalog with available stores can be found on the website of the Social Security Fund.

Every year, 1.5 million citizens with disabilities receive rehabilitation funds with the help of the state. In total, in 2022, 40 billion rubles were allocated in the budget for their purchase.
