She noted that "omicron" revealed genotyping at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology. There has been no official confirmation from Rospotrebnadzor yet.

As previously reported by the operational headquarters of the region, a sharp increase in the incidence of coronavirus is observed in the district. The leader in the number of people infected with a dangerous infection is Anadyr.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,502 Chukotkas have been diagnosed with COVID-19, 3,042 have recovered, and 42 have died. 1,156 people are in mandatory self-isolation.
