According to VTsIOM, Russians most often encountered bullying while studying at school (38%), at work (32%), in the family when communicating with relatives (15%), while studying at a university or college (13%), in the company of acquaintances (12%). In addition, 11% experienced bullying in the army, and 7% - on the Internet.
The problem of bullying today is of increasing public concern and requires the attention of the media.
On February 17 at 12.00, with the support of the United Editorial Board of Moscow Media, an online conference "Stop bullying!" will be held.
Russian and international experts, victims of bullying, psychologists, lawyers, bloggers are invited to the dialogue. The conference participants will try to answer the most pressing questions: what is bullying and what are its causes, is it possible to prevent possible aggression, how to respond and resist it.
The conference consists of three thematic blocks: bullying at school, bullying at work, bullying on the Internet. The moderators of the conference are David Vinner, host of the Moscow 24 TV channel, and journalist, TV presenter, blogger Elena Khanga.
