Russia (bbabo.net), - In the Arkhangelsk region, a children's coach was convicted, who, for failing to meet the standard, struck his wards with a meter-long wooden stick. This was reported by the press service of the Arkhangelsk Regional Court.

The crimes were committed in 2018-2019. Ten children were recognized as victims in the case. At the time of the crimes, they were between eight and 11 years old. Boys and girls have been training in this sports section six days a week since preschool age. According to the testimony of the parents, the trainer reported at the meetings that the one who did not pass the standard was allowed to be hit with a stick. And he explained to one of the parents that this is an "educational process":

- The system of strikes became the subject of investigation by investigators after the coach increased their number. From one or two to a number equal to the number of failed exercises. Since the children had to show growing results, the passing of the standards turned into an execution - 30 and even 38 strokes. One of the boys after such "classes" with difficulty reached the house. Another recalled that he could barely sit in class at school. The blows fell on the buttocks, the department said.

One of the students went to training with injuries, as a result, he had to take a break for treatment. And upon his return, he could not cope with the standards in any way, receiving blows again.

According to the press secretary of the regional court, Ksenia Solovieva, some of the children photographed the consequences of the blows - bruises, bruises. Someone treated the injuries himself, someone helped his mother. The children asked their parents not to interfere. One of the mothers found out that her son had received 38 blows during training only during interrogation. At the same time, some parents still protect the coach - until recently, he continued to work with children.

Taking into account the age, state of health, numerous awards and the presence of dependent young children, the court sentenced the coach to three years and six months of probation. He is also deprived of the right to organize and conduct a training process in martial arts, physical culture and sports events with minors for one year.

In favor of the children, in compensation for non-pecuniary damage, the court exacted half a million rubles - 50,000 rubles for each victim. The verdict came into force.
