We will cook borscht in front of the entrance to UNESCO so that they vote at the end of this year and say that borscht is Ukrainian,” the chef said.

He ended his speech with the words: "Everything will be borscht and everything will be Ukraine."

In April last year, Ukraine called for the "decommunization of the kitchen." The cook added that Ukrainians cannot be forced to abandon Soviet traditions.
