Model with Down's Syndrome is the face of Victoria's Secret for the first time

Puerto Rican Sophia Hirau made history as the first Victoria's Secret model with Down syndrome. Together with 17 other women, she participated in the launch of a new advertising campaign for the brand. It is reported by NBC News.

The model posted on her Instagram page with photos from the Love Cloud Collection and thanked the brand for making her dream come true. “Once I dreamed about it and worked to achieve the goal. Today my dream came true. Finally, I can tell you about it. I am the first Victoria's Secret model with Down Syndrome!" — wrote 24-year-old Puerto Rican in the social network.

Sofia Hirau noted that the pink bra she advertised was her favorite item in the new collection of the American brand.

Hirau began her modeling career in 2019 in Puerto Rico. In 2020, she made her debut at New York Fashion Week. In addition, she has an online clothing and accessories store Alavett, and she also runs the No Limits project, which supports people with Down syndrome.
