In Irkutsk, traffic police officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident involving a diesel locomotive and a truck, according to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The incident occurred on Rakitnaya street of the regional center. According to preliminary data, a 42-year-old driver of a MAZ truck drove to a railway crossing, where he collided with a moving diesel locomotive. The truck fell on its left side and received serious damage.

As a result of a traffic accident, two passengers of the truck were taken to a medical facility to check their condition. Currently, traffic police officers establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier it was reported that traffic police inspectors in the Leningrad region had to shoot at a car transporter to stop a trucker, and in Kuzbass four people died in an accident with five cars.
