Russia (bbabo.net), - The Investigative Committee of Karelia opened a criminal case on the death of a 38-year-old resident of the city of Kondopoga from alcohol poisoning. The case was initiated under article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - the sale of goods and products that do not meet safety requirements, which negligently caused the death of a person.

According to the press service of the department, the victim drank an alcohol-containing liquid in a holiday village in the Kondopoga region. She was hospitalized with signs of food poisoning. But they couldn't save. Death came from acute poisoning with methyl alcohol.

In this criminal case, law enforcement officers seized a large amount of alcohol-containing liquid, and identified a suspect who sold a deadly drink to a woman. In his respect, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
