According to the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, a 22-year-old pawnbroker with cocaine was first detained. He confessed that he bought drugs in an online store and distributed them in Kaliningrad through caches.
The police identified the supplier from whom the pawnbroker bought the goods. It turned out to be a 31-year-old unemployed Kaliningrader. He purchased drugs in bulk on the darknet, and on the same site he created his own store to sell packaged goods at a premium. He kept everything in an apartment he had mortgaged.
The police special forces had to take this apartment by storm with the help of a special ram. The operatives seized a kilogram of hashish in the original packaging in which it enters Europe from the country of origin, as well as amphetamine, ephedron, cocaine, LSD, mephedrone, alpha-PVP "salt", cannabis oil, marijuana.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Leningrad District initiated a criminal case under the article "Attempt to illegal production, sale or shipment of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues on an especially large scale", which provides for imprisonment for a term of 15 to 20 years. The suspect has been taken into custody.
