“Putin spoke on the phone with the acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Chupriyan, and instructed him to urgently fly to the Rostov region to organize work on the spot to create conditions for accommodation, provide hot meals and everything necessary, including medical care,” Peskov said.

Earlier, the heads of the DPR and LNB announced the beginning of the evacuation of the population to Russia against the background of the strengthening of the Ukrainian army grouping near the line of contact.
