The first train with refugees from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics arrived in the Voronezh region from Taganrog, TASS reports.

Arriving residents of Donbass are going to be placed in temporary accommodation centers, including in the children's camps "Blue Screen" and "Kirovets".

The Voronezh Region has become the second Russian region to host evacuees from the DPR and LPR. Acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Chupriyan previously said that about 500 people were delivered as part of the first train. Those evacuated by train were also sent to the Kursk region.

At the moment, more than 30 thousand refugees have already arrived in the Rostov region. In connection with the arrival of people in the region, an emergency regime was introduced, the FSB border department was transferred to an enhanced mode of service.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to urgently pay 10 thousand rubles to each evacuee from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's regions.
