“In the first hours after arriving on our territory, citizens undergo PCR testing. In general, there are quite a few people with positive tests, not two dozen are recruited, ”he said.
Chupriyanov added that about 1.5 thousand PCR tests were carried out in total. For patients with positive tests, measures are taken up to hospitalization.
In total, since the beginning of the announcement of the evacuation in the Donbass, 61,000 people have arrived in Russia.
On Friday, February 18, the heads of the LPR and DPR, Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin, amid the growing threat of hostilities, announced the evacuation of residents of the republics to Russia, initially to the Rostov region. Later, a number of Russian regions announced their readiness to receive and accommodate refugees.
