In winter, more than half of Russians get to work longer than usual, and one in four is late for work due to the long cleaning of the car from snow. This is stated in the results of a survey of more than 3 thousand people from the Rabota.ru and SberAvto services, the study was received by the editors.

According to the results of the survey, in winter, the time to travel to work increased for 56% of the respondents in Russia. The majority of respondents (67%) do not have to clean the car from snow in the morning, however, every tenth respondent with a personal car has to clean it every day throughout the winter. 6% of respondents said they clean their car several times a week, 5% - several times during the winter, and 1% - every few weeks.

Almost half of the respondents (47%) had to leave the house 5-10 minutes earlier than usual to clear the car of snow. 26% of respondents allocated 20-30 minutes for car cleaning. More than half an hour to prepare for the road required 8% of the survey participants. 27% of respondents indicated that they were late for work due to the long cleaning of the car from snow; 15% of respondents had to adjust their plans and switch to public transport; 6% of study participants were late for meetings due to snowy winter weather.

Also, 65% of respondents said that they always cope with car cleaning on their own. At the same time, 28% may ask for help to push the car out of the snowdrift; 7% of study participants could ask for a brush or scraper for cleaning, and 5% could turn to street wipers for a small fee.
