There are no “live” cars left in the car market for a budget of 500 thousand rubles

Due to the increase in the price of cars on the "secondary", which became the result of a shortage of new cars and rising prices for them, now it is very difficult to find a "live" used car. This was told by entrepreneur Semyon Didenko, who is professionally engaged in auto-selection.

According to the expert, now the most difficult thing is to find a suitable car in the lowest price segment - up to 500 thousand rubles. Therefore, many autopickers cannot guarantee customers that they will be able to find a matching item.

“It cannot be said that there is only one illiquid product left on the market, but it is extremely difficult to find a “live” car and it will be expensive. Many large recruiting companies do not undertake to search for a car cheaper than a million rubles. I look at the client’s expectations, whether he understands what he is ordering, whether he is ready to put up with the nuances of the car that he can find,” said Didenko.

In January 2022, the average price of a used car in Russia amounted to 639.8 thousand rubles. The cost growth compared to the same period last year amounted to 60%, and compared to December 2021 - 6.6%, Avito Auto experts reported.
