In 2021, respondents most often traveled to Egypt (46%), Greece (15%), Turkey (12%), UAE (6%), Thailand (5%) and the Maldives (4%). In 2022, Egypt (24% of respondents plan to go there), the Maldives (22%), the United Arab Emirates (15%), Greece (15%) and Turkey (13%) can become the most popular destinations for honeymooners.

The vast majority of respondents (79%) do not seek to tie the wedding to a beautiful date. Among those who care about when to go to the registry office, women are predominant (31% versus 14% of men).

Respondents give much more importance to the time of the year suitable for a wedding. 87% of respondents do not care what time of the year to hold a wedding. Of these, over 40% consider summer to be the best season, every fourth (25%) - early autumn, 22% - winter and 13% - autumn.

At the same time, 2021 was marked by an increase in the cost of Russians for weddings. If among the respondents who got married before last year, almost half (49%) met the amounts not exceeding 500 thousand rubles, then in 2021, 70% of the respondents, the wedding cost more. In particular, 47% of the respondents spent 500-800 thousand rubles on it, every sixth (18%) - 800-1000 thousand rubles, 3% - 1-1.5 million rubles. and 2% - more than 1.5 million rubles.

About wedding expenses from 500 thousand rubles. Mostly respondents from Moscow and the Moscow region (15%), St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (11%), Krasnodar region (9%), Bashkortostan (9%) and Voronezh region (8%) spoke.

The increase in spending can partly be explained by the attitude of respondents to this event. If among those who got married before 2021, a wedding in grand style was considered a matter of principle by 44% of respondents, then among those who got married in 2021, every second (55%) thinks so.

Among those who planned a wedding for 2022, dreaming of a celebration on a grand scale is slightly less - 51%. And, accordingly, there are fewer of those who plan to spend more than 500 thousand rubles on this. (41%). 59% planned more modest spending. In particular, 28% would like to meet 300-500 thousand rubles, 17% - in an amount not exceeding 100 thousand rubles, and 14% - 100-300 thousand rubles.

Respondents planning to spend at least 500 thousand rubles on a wedding live mainly in Moscow (16%), Krasnodar Territory (14%), Volgograd Region (13%), Krasnoyarsk Territory (11%) and Bashkortostan (10%).

At the same time, the number of couples who use borrowed funds for their wedding is expected to increase. Of the respondents who got married in 2021, 28% took the money to organize the celebration. Of the respondents whose wedding is scheduled for this year, 42% of respondents spoke of such a possibility.
