In St. Petersburg, a 10-year-old child who fell through the ice was hospitalized in one of the medical institutions.

According to Znak.com, citing a law enforcement source, the incident occurred near Rusanovskaya Street on the Utkin Zavod River. The boy fell through the ice and began to drown, but a passer-by and a janitor arrived in time to help him.

“The child was handed over to the ambulance, he was hospitalized in serious condition and placed in intensive care,” the source said.

Earlier it was reported that rescuers found the body of the drowned former Deputy Minister of Justice Vladimir Yalunin in the Moscow River. They searched for two weeks.
