Investigative Committee will hold Ukrainian military officials accountable for crimes in Donbass

The Investigative Committee of Russia stated that it has evidence of involvement in war crimes on the territory of the LPR and DPR of former and current military officials of Ukraine. This was reported on the website of the UK.

According to the agency, since 2014, more than 2,600 civilians have died and more than 2,200 civilian infrastructure facilities have been destroyed as a result of shelling on the territory of the republics.

“Almost every day we receive information about the death of people from Ukrainian shells. Ukrainian security forces do not even shun shelling schools, hospitals, kindergartens. The intent to kill the inhabitants of Donbass is obvious," the Investigative Committee said in a statement.

It is noted that the Investigative Committee opened more than 400 criminal cases and established the involvement in the commission of these crimes of 85 persons from among the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

Earlier in Lugansk there was a new explosion - now near the trolleybus depot. The authorities of the LNR called the incident a terrorist act. Details of the incident are still unknown, and no casualties have been reported. The day before yesterday, an explosion of a car that happened next to the car of the representative of the LPR in the JCCC Mikhail Filiponenko was called a “terrorist attack” and an “assassination attempt”. There were other "acts of terrorism", but no one was injured in them - except, presumably, three people on the highway to Gorlovka.
