On February 20, the funeral of an outstanding Islamic thinker, politician, publicist, writer and public figure Shamil Zagitovich Sultanov took place. His friends and associates came to see the deceased on his last journey to the Cathedral Mosque of Moscow.

Shamil was a master of facing the truth. He had, of course, a purely mountain temperament, not a flat one, he did not allow boredom to take over his mind even at times when boredom is saving.
He gave his last interview to the Truly portal, founded by Heydar Jemal - it clearly shows how his thought works - how he inspects the lands of the world, where effort is required, the efforts of his party, the party of Islam.

In his usual manner, he brainstormed for several minutes, drew the Arabs a roadmap to improve relations between our countries and increase trade. Clarity of thought, knowledge of facts, accuracy of arguments - all this distinguished Shamil Sultanov.
And if someday an analytical center appears in Russia to improve relations between the Russian Federation and the Islamic world, it should be named after Shamil Zagitovich Sultanov.
