Russians will be able to visit Italy without quarantine from March 1

Italy from March 1 cancels the quarantine for arriving tourists from non-European countries. Russians will be able to visit this country after taking a coronavirus test, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in Italian government structures.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, Russian tourists, if they were vaccinated with a drug not approved by the European agency EMA, will have to do tests in order to receive a green pass to visit public places.

He noted that the new regulations of the Italian Ministry of Health say that non-European citizens will follow the same rules as travelers from the EU.

Earlier it was reported that Russian tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V can visit the Indonesian island of Bali from February 4.

Israel has also made it easier for those vaccinated with Sputnik V to enter the country. Vaccinated tourists will have to receive a positive test for the presence of antibodies, made in Russia in one of the laboratories recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Health. Such citizens will be able to submit all the necessary documents in advance on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Health and receive a green certificate even before departure to the country.
