“From now on, Canadian airspace is closed to all Russian aircraft operators,” Alhabr said in a statement posted on Twitter.
The Spanish authorities also released their statement that they are starting to close the airspace for Russian airlines.
“In accordance with the cooperation guidelines set by the European Union, this measure will affect flights operated by Russian airlines using Spanish airspace,” the Spanish transport authority said in a statement.
