For 11 months of 2021, 397 accidents involving carsharing cars occurred in Moscow, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Moscow reported and named the main violations committed by drivers of short-term rental cars.

In total, during this period, 21 people died and 487 were injured in four hundred accidents involving car sharing.

The most common violations were the wrong choice of distance, inconsistency of speed with specific conditions, non-observance of the sequence of passage and violation of the rules for rebuilding.

Traffic police officers managed to suppress more than 76 thousand administrative offenses by drivers of carsharing cars. Also, more than 160 facts of driving by drivers who were not registered with the companies of the lessors, or by fake registration were revealed.

Earlier it became known that in Russia in 2021 the number of accidents with carsharing cars increased by 36%.

In September this year, the Moscow mayor's office increased the maximum dimensions and lease terms for car sharing.
