On Saturday morning, worshipers at a mosque in the Canadian province of Mississauga were attacked, according to the Daily Sabah. According to the imam of the mosque, during the morning Fajr prayer at about 7 am, an unknown person burst into the building and began to spray the worshipers with a pepper spray.
“We turned to see what was happening and saw a man with an ax in his hand. It looked like he wanted to spray the gas in everyone's eyes before attacking us,” the imam of the mosque, Ibrahim Hindi, said.
A teenager helped stop the attacker. A 19-year-old guy threw him to the floor, and the rest were able to twist and hold until the police arrived. According to the imam, one of the worshipers suffered a severe eye burn from pepper spray.
