Rafik Zagrutdinov: Construction of three more medical facilities will begin in the Skolkovo medical cluster in 2022

Russia (bbabo.net) - As the head of the Moscow Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov told reporters today at a press conference, the Skolkovo Moscow International Medical Cluster continues to develop actively. In 2022, it is planned to start construction of three facilities with a total area of 56.71 thousand square meters. This is a general-purpose rehabilitation complex, a nuclear medicine center and a university hospital.

Zagrutdinov recalled that this year a therapeutic building was introduced to Skolkovo. It provides day and round-the-clock hospital departments for 100 beds, of which 60 beds are round-the-clock, and 40 are day-care beds. More than 32 thousand patients will be able to undergo treatment in various directions here every year. The building is equipped with the most modern equipment. Thus, the MRI device installed in the department of radiation therapy has not yet been registered in the Russian Federation and is unique for our country.

Next year it is planned to put into operation a multifunctional medical center. With an area of almost 50 thousand square meters, it is intended to accommodate international medical operators who do not need large areas. It will be able to accommodate small clinics with common services, for example, rooms for radiation diagnostics, endoscopy, and a laboratory. This will enable them to significantly reduce operating costs. The concept of the center also allows you to quickly and inexpensively re-plan the premises and, if necessary, increase the area without affecting the operation of adjacent blocks, as well as increase the level of economic efficiency during the operation phase.

In addition, the architecture of the medical mall makes it possible to flexibly adapt the space for clinics of different profiles, even with a change in the composition of tenants.
