Stalin's personal wardrobe contained strange objects

In connection with the next anniversary of Stalin's birth, the mk.ru edition decided to review his wardrobe.

As the newspaper writes with reference to experts, one of the places where the leader's toilet was concentrated in his residence near Moscow was a hanger to the left of the entrance, on which "except for Stalin, no one ever hung their things."

At the time of his death, this hanger turned out to be: "a fur coat and over it hats - a fur seal, a columnar and made of black-brown foxes." In addition, there was a military cloak with a checkered scarf, and a military cap above it. In the hallway there was also a drape brown overcoat, a gray carpetcoat civilian with overcoat pockets extended, and an old gray summer coat. Also kept here by Stalin were hare mittens with a civilian cap.

In Stalin's office there was a military cloak and a blue-gray military suit of the Generalissimo.

In the bedroom wardrobe there were two tunics and two pairs of trousers with suspenders, two civilian jacket-tunics, two pairs of trousers lay below. There were also several pairs of coats and hats. On the shelves were handkerchiefs, underpants and shirts.

From footwear the "leader of the peoples" had slippers, military boots, felt felt boots, boots, Nanai high fur boots. Stalin slept in a Faydeshin robe.

Of the strange objects, the leader had a hat made of a black-and-brown fox, a.jpgt. But he didn't like the original hat. The problem was solved as follows: from the security officers they found a man with a suitable head size, he put on a hat, and the hairdresser neatly shortened the fur with a hair clipper. So, Stalin had a "cropped fox" hat.

Stalin had only one weekend shoe, still pre-war. They tried to dissuade him from wearing them, especially at official meetings, since they were all cracked and worn out. But Stalin refused, the housekeepers at home managed with incredible efforts to rub them with cream until they shine. Stalin carried these shoes until his death.

Earlier it was reported that a bas-relief with Stalin was installed on the house of officers of the Russian city.
