The prosecutor's office demanded five years in prison for a Muscovite who urinated on a portrait of a veteran

The prosecution asked the Moscow City Court to appoint 19-year-old blogger Matvey Yuferov, who urinated on a portrait of a veteran, a punishment of five years in prison. This is reported by mk.ru with reference to the press service of the Moscow central office of the prosecutor's office.

During the debate, the state prosecutor asked for a sentence of five years in prison in a general regime correctional colony, the press service said.

The police detained Yuferov after he himself published a video on social networks in which he wet himself on a stand with a portrait of a WWII veteran in Izmailovsky Park.

The man relieved himself of a photo of the veteran Anatoly Frolov, whose son turned to the prosecutor's office. The blogger later apologized for what he had done, claiming that "moral torment is eating him from the inside."

The blogger is now in jail.

A criminal case was initiated against the young man under the article "Desecration of the symbols of military glory of Russia, insult to the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, committed in public."
