A resident of the Turkish city of Gaziantep amazed emergency workers with the sincerity of her faith.
During a rescue operation, when a woman and her children were to be pulled out from under the rubble of a collapsed building, a Muslim woman, at the sight of the rescuers, through tears of joy, told them that she would not go outside until they found her handkerchief.
“Aunty, how I love your iman!” one of the rescuers laughed. The Turkish woman was immediately given a hijab and pulled out from under the rubble, reports bbabo.net with reference to Siasat.
As the woman was lifted up on the medical lift, onlookers chanted "Allahu Akbar" (God is great) and applauded loudly.
