The incident took place on Shevchenko Street, Interfax writes. The city administration told reporters that the day before, the sidewalk on this street had been cleared of snow, and the schoolboy climbed into a snowdrift on purpose.

However, on footage, the child does not refuse help. To get him out, the taxi driver had to find a stable position. The boy with the backpack is stuck in the snow up to his neck, and you can see that he is tall - which means that the amount of snow on the street is pretty decent.

According to the woman who recorded the video, no one tried to help the child until the driver of the car approached.
