However, so far we are only talking about visiting shopping centers.

Thus, the "QR-vacation" was announced in the Sverdlovsk region: you can go to shopping centers without the "cherished hieroglyph" here for a month - from December 22 to January 20. And then, as noted in the region, they will look at the epidemiological situation and decide whether to extend the relief or not.

Residents of the region have already called the governor's decision "the best.jpgt" for the New Year. But at the same time, they are perplexed, why, in this case, at least during the holidays, they should not be allowed to go to museums, theaters and exhibitions without a code. After all, there, unlike the shopping center, there is no pandemonium.

Restaurateurs in the Urals have their own joy: they were allowed not to close their establishments at night, although visitors still have to confirm that they have been vaccinated. The owners of several cafes and restaurants on this occasion even arranged a small party on the city embankment - with champagne and fireworks.

QR codes at the entrance to the shopping and entertainment center in the Kurgan and Tyumen regions have been canceled. And at once the queues grew at the ticket offices and fitting rooms. People are in a hurry to "stock up" for the holiday: someone is carrying a huge cart of tangerines and chocolates, someone chooses a Christmas tree, and someone is a beautiful tableware.

The headquarters of the Tomsk region also decided on a slight relaxation. Here, the code is no longer required at the entrance to the mall, but it will be checked if you want to get into the entertainment infrastructure of the centers - restaurants and cinemas. According to the governor of the region Sergey Zhvachkin, it is impossible to completely abandon the introduction of QR codes. The number of vaccinated adults in the region is still slightly more than 52%. "References with QR codes should be canceled only with the departure of the covid. And this will be when another half of Tomsk residents are vaccinated," the head of the region explained the position.

True, before the holidays, local theaters were allowed to increase occupancy by 80 percent.

QR codes remain mandatory in Dagestan as well. The inspections revealed that about 80 percent of the region's large retail properties do not fully comply with the requirements. The owners were strictly warned. But, as the owners of the shopping center say, due to the large influx of customers on New Year's Eve, the staff simply does not have time to check QR codes.

They decided to strengthen control during the holidays and in Karachay-Cherkessia. Special attention will be paid to the verification of certificates at the Dombay and Arkhyz ski resorts, where without QR codes it will be impossible to check into hotels, use cable cars and equipment rental points. At the same time, vaccination points and PCR laboratories were opened at the resorts.

But still it is too early for all of us to relax. The situation is difficult, the mortality rate remains quite high. And now the arrival of "omicron" is expected - as you know, a more infectious strain.

At the same time, we have not yet reached the level of herd immunity that would allow us to effectively fight the pandemic. Therefore, I think that it is still very early to cancel QR codes everywhere.
