The Central District Court of Kemerovo found the former head of the State Construction Supervision Inspectorate of the Kemerovo Region, Tanzilya Komkova, guilty of accepting 7 million rubles in bribes from the developer of the Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping and entertainment center, money laundering and abuse of power. According to all the crimes she is charged with, Komkova will spend 18 years in a general regime colony. In addition, she was ordered to pay a fine of 80 million rubles. The woman is deprived of the right to hold positions in the civil service for a period of 12 years.

The court also sentenced Komkova's son Eduard Komkov to 10 years in a maximum security colony.

The general director of the construction company ISK Resource, which reconstructed the building of the Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping center, Nikita Cherednichenko, received 15 years of strict regime. He was found guilty under part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking bribes on an especially large scale) and under paragraph "b" of Part 4 of Article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (legalization of funds),

On October 29, the court sentenced the eight defendants in the case of the fire in the Zimnyaya Vishnya shopping and entertainment center. The court found firefighters Sergei Genin and Andrei Bursin guilty of negligence in extinguishing the fire and sentenced them to five and six years in prison, respectively.
