Russia (bbabo.net), - The Moscow Regional Court issued a verdict in a high-profile criminal case on the murder of former special forces soldier Nikita Belyankin in the near Moscow region. The young man stood up for the beaten guys and received several stab wounds, from which he later died.

According to the prosecutor's office of the Moscow region, in the case, 9 people were accused at once.

According to the verdict, Sergei Khojayan, Hamlet Hayrapetyan and Hrant Hayrapetyan were found guilty of the murder of "a person in connection with his public duty" committed by a group of people. In addition, their guilt was established for attempted murder of two or more persons "for hooligan motives." And also they were charged with the article of the Criminal Code "Hooliganism".

Narek Stepanyan, Suren Markosyan, Rudik Manukyan, David Yeghiazaryan, Sahak Sahakyan and Artur Hakobyan were found guilty of group hooliganism.

The court and the investigation established that on the night of June 1-2, 2019, in the Krasnogorsk region (Putilkovo), the convicts committed "hooligan actions, during which they beat up Vladimir Danilov and Alexander Sergeev." Two resuscitation doctors were relaxing at a local beer bar, where they had a falling out with the company. The showdown, in which the bartender also participated, first took place in the bar, then on the street.

"In the process of beating, Hamlet and Grant Airapetyan held him in order to kill Sergeev, and Khojayan stabbed him in the abdomen, thereby inflicting a penetrating stab and cut wound," said the prosecutor's office near Moscow, specifying that Sergeev's death did not occur only because that criminal actions were suppressed by Nikita Belyankin who was passing by. The guy served in the GRU and was, among other things, on a business trip to Syria during his service. At that moment, he walked past the ill-fated bar with his girlfriend.

In response to Belyankin's legal demands to stop the illegal actions, the court department said, Hamlet Hayrapetyan, Hrant Hayrapetyan and Khojayan had already beaten him. "Khojayan stabbed Belyankin in the chest area and inflicted a stab wound, which resulted in the death of the latter," the prosecutor's office noted.

The court sentenced Khojayan to 20 years in prison, Hrant Hayrapetyan to 18 years in prison, and his brother Hamlet to 17 years. All three will serve their sentences in a strict regime colony. The convicts are also obliged to pay 10 million rubles as compensation to the family of the murdered.

The rest of the convicts received sentences ranging from 5 to 5.5 years in a general regime colony.

"Gurgen Aghayan, accused of hooliganism, and Hovhannes Hayrapetyan, accused of murder and hooliganism, have been put on the international wanted list, they have chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention in absentia," the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said.
