What danger can await Russians on New Year's holidays

Russia (bbabo.net), - Christmas trees, sparklers, firecrackers, riding on "cheesecakes" - the happiness of the New Year's celebration easily turns into misfortune if the trees are poorly fixed, sparklers are damp, damaged firecrackers exploded, and dad drank too much .

Among the most serious injuries, the chief pediatrician of the Moscow Department of Health, Ismail Osmanov, named craniocerebral injuries received from riding "cheesecakes" or tubing. In second place among children's New Year's dangers is the accidental availability of alcohol and all kinds of drugs, many of them are brought to the hospital directly from the New Year's table. Especially in recent years, children who have swallowed hypergelium balls have been admitted to the hospital on holidays. Therefore, it is better to check each toy, and during a feast with guests, do not forget to look back at the little child. As for nutrition, it is better for children not to give fatty, fried, soda. They should also be fed salads with a minimum of mayonnaise.

The chief nutritionist of the Moscow Department of Health, Antonina Starodubova, advises us not to forget about overeating, accompanied by both acute diseases (poisoning) and exacerbation of chronic ones. In the top New Year's mistakes, she included attempts to dramatically lose weight on the eve of the New Year's feast and the desire to surprise guests with an extraordinary abundance of dishes. She recalled the "plate rule" - the amount eaten at the New Year's table would be good to fit into one plate 20-24 cm in diameter.

For the chief freelance specialist, psychiatrist-narcologist of the Moscow Department of Health, Evgeny Brun, the best option for celebrating the New Year is non-alcoholic. But only 5% of the country's population are ready for such a scenario. At the same time, about 20% of Russians regularly abuse alcohol. Brune recalled that the body sleeps at night even on a holiday, the fermentation system reduces its work, so it is better to resort to low-grade alcohol on New Year's Eve.
