Russia - Scientists and experts made predictions about the future

Russia (bbabo.net), - - In the year of the thirtieth anniversary of the magazine "Miracles and Adventures" we opened several innovative headings, one of which was called "XXX-files", - says Alexander Nefedov, First Deputy Editor-in-Chief. “We took the files of a quarter-century-old magazine and looked at futuristic articles by philosophers, engineers, inventors, scientists.

It turned out that much of what they wrote about at the end of the 20th century as hypothetically possible has become reality. In something rosy, sometimes sad. Now a new generation of inquisitive researchers is predicting our near future. Forecasts will soon appear on the pages of our magazine. But let's tell you something now - to the readers. So, we stand on the threshold:

- Successful cloning of prehistoric animals - as in the movie apocalypse "Jurassic Park". Most likely, Chinese scientists will achieve such a dubious "success." A find in the Guangzhou region will help them - there paleontologists unearthed a fossilized dinosaur egg 70 million years old with a perfectly preserved embryo;

- Further improvement of the so-called. "respiratory fluid", pumped into individual deep-sea spacesuits, will allow a person to descend to the depths of many kilometers of the World Ocean;

- The battle of politicians and scientists for primacy in the Arctic and Antarctica, an attempt to extract various resources from the developed territories ... But are we ready to confront unknown creatures, the awakening of which from centuries of sleep will be subject to their primitive instincts?

Sergey Borisov, ChiPa scientific columnist:

- In the coming years, we should expect the further spread of digital technologies; by the end of 2022, it is planned to transfer all mass socially significant services to digital format. Self-learning programs will take control of automated control of traffic flows, traffic lights, traffic at intersections. This process has already started in a number of regions. Self-driving cars will soon be on the road.

Marina Alexandrina, art critic:

- Artificial intelligence (AI) will make itself known in the field of show business in full voice. In the next two or three years, we will see revolutionary exhibition projects of the symbiosis of fine art and technical design, theatrical performances without the participation of real people, directed by AI, and only robots will embody them on the stage. Habitual literature and poetry will give way to quasi-works, the play on words and meanings in which will be the result of the unrestrained imagination of AI.

Dmitry Zelov, candidate of historical sciences:

- In the coming decades, polarization will increase to the maximum - one will have to forget about the former globalism and the "single" multicultural humanity forever. At the same time, Russia will take a leading role on the planet both in terms of its political and cultural and spiritual influence and values transmitted to the world, and the United States will finally lose its dominant position. In connection with the ever-increasing natural disasters, the global deterioration of the ecological situation, as well as global climatic changes, which will only increase from year to year (one of the main ones will be the rise in the level of the World Ocean due to the total melting of glaciers in the polar regions and, as a result, flooding of coastal areas), the struggle for resources will intensify.

Russia, due to its unique geographical position, will find itself in a more advantageous position, including thanks to the innovative, breakthrough technologies of Russian scientists.

Roman Nutrikhin, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, North Caucasus Federal University:

- It is possible that technologies will soon appear that will embody the old dream of futurists and science fiction writers - the creation of a digital copy of a human person with the memory of a whole life. It will no longer be necessary to send the whole person into deep freeze in the hope that someday it will be possible to unfreeze him and revive him again. "Immortality of personality" will be ensured by copying consciousness to a USB flash drive so that a person continues to exist in the network space. A future historian or biographer will be able to directly communicate with the hero of his story, even if he lived many years before him! Within a quarter of a century, the development of technology can bring this idea closer to reality. However, I am convinced that this will affect the purely "mechanical" attributes of the person. It is impossible to "digitize" an immortal soul.

In addition, breakthrough digitalization also provides limitless opportunities for accumulating and searching for information, as well as analyzing "big data". It seems that this should lead to the emergence of a world completely devoid of secrets. Everything can be found out, found, found out in a second. But in reality, as I think, this will lead society into a much more dense "thicket of the unknown." Spoiled by the benefits of digitalization, future generations will largely lose the skills of interacting with classical culture. They may forget how to create and understand poetry ...
