Harrison Ford was injured in the crash of a small plane he was piloting near Los Angeles on Thursday. The actor was lightly wounded and is expected to fully recover at an early date, as was mentioned by his son and his press secretary.

The well-known actor, aged of 72, was going to land his plane on a golf course because of an engine failure that happened shortly after the plane’s taking off from nearby Santa Monica Airport. TMZ website reported that the actor, who played Han Solo in Star Wars, had received several head injuries. He was hospitalized at Venice Hospital in West Los Angeles.
