A quarter of Russians keep faith in better future

About a quarter of Russian respondents (26 percent) believe that their life will become better than now within a year. This was reported in a survey published by All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (ARORC) named "Social well-being of Russians: estimates and projections."

According to the publication on "Slon.ru", this result was the lowest in the past six years: the same percentage of respondents was optimistic about their future at the time of the crisis in July 2009. During other time periods a larger percentage of Russians expected an improvement of their living conditions. Thus, in June 2015 the rate made up 37 percent.

Currently, according to the poll, about half of Russians believe that their life would not change in one year, and 14 percent are prepared to its deterioration. 10 percent of respondents hesitated in their choice.
