On December 15, the girl, who had not previously had heart problems, lost consciousness. At the cardiology center, they did not find any illnesses in her and they let her go home. The patient walked to the doorstep of the clinic and fell again. Doctors diagnosed cardiac arrest and began urgent resuscitation.
“During the day, her heart stopped 23 more times. And 23 times the doctors brought her back to life, ”the cardiology center said.
Myocardial scintigraphy - a special examination of the heart muscle - helped to detect pathology of the left ventricle of the heart. The patient underwent surgery and installed a special device - a cardioverter-defibrillator, which prevents the development of dangerous ventricular arrhythmias.
