Olympic champion Camille Muffat is among the victims of the helicopter crash that occurred last night in Argentina and took away lives of nine other people.

Camille Muffat announced her sporting retirement on July 12, 2014.

"Camille was the personified righteousness. She was a very determined girl, extremely balanced one, she was the person who made her choice. She was a girl of high morality, an extraordinary young woman, who was a friend, a confidant and a little sister - all in one, " said her friend Sophie Kamoun a few hours after the Argentine tragedy. "It’s like as if I lost someone in my family," said Fabrice Pellerin on BFM.
