There is no cellular communication in Almaty again

Cellular communications and the Internet are again unavailable in Alma-Ata, where an anti-terrorist special operation had begun earlier. This was reported by a TASS correspondent.

At the moment, the Internet in Kazakhstan does not work everywhere. It is impossible to make calls in Almaty, incoming calls also do not go through. The websites of the authorities and the media are still not working.

Earlier, a number of portals of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the president's website, once again stopped opening.

The portals of the President of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Health, the National Bank, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, the Mayor's Office of Alma-Ata and Nur-Sultan are among those that have stopped working.

The day before, in Alma-Ata, after almost 7 hours of absence, access to the Internet appeared. Wired internet has also been launched in the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan. There was no access to it for several hours. However, mobile internet still doesn't work.

In Kazakhstan, protests continue, which began on January 2 in the city of Zhanaozen, Mangistau region, after the price per liter of liquefied gas increased to 120 tenge (about 21 rubles). Before that, the price for a liter of gas was 60 tenge. Two days later, clashes between protesters and the police and the military began in Almaty and a number of other cities. Clashes also took place in Aktobe, Taraz, Aktau and other settlements.
