Russia (bbabo.net) - On Christmas Eve and on Christmas Eve, order in all regions of Russia was guarded by 41.4 thousand police officers.

The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, said that the military personnel of the Russian Guard, representatives of private security organizations, members of the people's squads and Cossack associations were involved in the events.

For the prevention of offenses, the police conducted a comprehensive survey of premises and territories. Traffic police officers were on duty near Orthodox churches and monasteries to ensure road safety.

Irina Volk recalled that 1.4 million people took part in the Christmas services in 5.9 thousand settlements of our country.
