Employees of the Heart Institute in Los Angeles conducted a study, during which it was found that 177 medical workers who had suffered from COVID-19 even before the advent of vaccines, within six months after recovery, had chronic inflammation: damage to the joints, skin, and also the nervous system.

The results of the study are published in the Journal of Translational Medicine.
