A fire in a residential building in the Kostroma region killed four people, including two children. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the regional GU EMERCOM.

“A dead woman was found at the site of the fire, the bodies of two children were found - a nine-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy. And the body of a man has not been identified yet, ”the ministry said.

According to preliminary data, at the time of the incident there were six people in the house - four adults and two children. One of them survived, said the regional headquarters of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The flames engulfed the entire wooden house. The fire was extinguished by 32 people and 13 pieces of equipment.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in the Irkutsk region. There, as a result of a fire in a two-story wooden house in the village of Khomutovo, three women, a man and an 11-year-old child were killed. The owner of the house was admitted to the city hospital with injuries.

Prior to that, at least five people, including two children, suffered from a fire in a five-story apartment building in Tatarstan.
