Russia - The prosecutor's office did not close the case on the beating of the figure skater Solovyov

Russia (bbabo.net), - The Prosecutor's Office of the Central Administrative District of Moscow approved the charge against two 18-year-old students who are accused of intentionally causing moderate bodily harm by a group of people out of hooligan motives. We are talking about the beating of the Olympic champion in figure skating Dmitry Solovyov, which took place on December 21, 2021 in Veskovsky lane near the karaoke club.

As Lyudmila Nefedova, the official representative of the Moscow prosecutor's office, told the correspondent, the CAO prosecutor refused to satisfy the petitions to dismiss the criminal case in connection with the reconciliation of the parties. In the near future, the criminal case will be sent to the Tverskoy Court of Moscow.

According to the investigation, the attackers - students of one of the capital's law schools - in a state of alcoholic intoxication out of hooligan motives beat Solovyov, inflicting multiple blows on his body and head. After that, realizing that the victim would not be able to resist, one of the accomplices struck the victim with two punches in the head and one kick in the back.

As a result of criminal actions, as established by the investigation, the health of the victim suffered harm of moderate severity. The reason for the beating was that Solovyov stood up for the girls who were being molested by drunken young people.

Both defendants, one of whom is represented by his mother, are being held in custody.
