Swedish rising UFC star Khamzat Chimayev (10-0) prepares for a big fight in his fifth fight in the promotion. Borz's likely rival will be the second-ranked divisional, Brazilian Gilbert Burns (20-4). The bbabo.net correspondent spoke about the potential confrontation in more detail.
The 27-year-old fighter of Chechen origin is rightfully considered one of the stars not only of welterweight, but of the entire world MMA. Chimaev instills fear in opponents, even in experienced and more rated fighters. Recently, rumors circulated online regarding a possible fight between Khamzat and 35-year-old Burns in April.
Khamzat won all four fights in the UFC, while not allowing any damage to his side from opponents. Right now, he is already at the 11th line in the ranking. As for Burns, he is experienced and very dangerous. In recent years, the Brazilian lost only to champion Kamar Usman (20-1) in the title fight.

Few of the fighters outside the top 10 of their weight manage to get an instant fight with the second number of the rating. The hype that revolves around Chimaev makes such a confrontation possible.
