Russian national team striker Smolov left for Dynamo

The footballer of the Russian national team Fyodor Smolov left the Moscow “Lokomotiv” and returned to the capital “Dynamo”, according to the official website of the railroad workers.

Transfer details were not disclosed.

Dynamo published a video with Smolov in front of VTB Arena Football Fedor Smolov moved to Lokomotiv from Krasnodar in the summer of 2018 and has since played 95 matches for the red-greens, in which he scored 29 goals. Together with the railroad workers, the 31-year-old forward has twice won the Russian Cup and once the country's Super Cup.

Smolov began his adult career at Dynamo in 2007 and played for the “blue-white” until 2015, while also playing on loan for Feyenord Rotterdam, Anji Makhachkala and Ural Yekaterinburg. From 2015 to 2018, Smolov played for Krasnodar. In the spring of 2020, the forward played on loan for the Spanish Celta.

As part of the Russian national team, Smolov played 45 matches, in which he scored 16 goals.
