The new coach of Krasnodar called the match against Lokomotiv an ideal debut

The new head coach of Krasnodar, Daniel Farke, considers the February match against Lokomotiv, led by another German coach, Markus Gisdol, to be an ideal start.

“The big advantage, of course, is that the RPL starts at the end of February – this gives us the opportunity to work actively for five weeks. In fact, this is a complete preparation for the season. And the first match will be a duel of German coaches. Perfect start!" Farke is quoted by Krasnodar's official Twitter.

The coach also thanked the president of the club Sergei Galitsky for the trust in him and his staff. “We are determined to lead this wonderful and modern club together into a bright sporting future. We have made many decisions in the past based on instinct. This time there was a positive feeling right from the start. We look forward to getting to know the team,” said Farke.

Goncharenko called the reasons for his dismissal from Krasnodar Football Krasnodar announced the signing of a contract with Farke on Thursday. The contract is valid until June 30, 2024.

At the head of the team, Farke replaced Viktor Goncharenko, who was dismissed in early January.

Farke has been in charge of Norwich since May 2017 and has led the team to the Premier League twice. He also coached Lippstadt and the second team of Borussia Dortmund in his homeland.
