Legionnaires are better than their own, and experienced ones are stronger than young ones? Why Shakhtar part ways with pupils

In recent years, Shakhtar has consistently released several pupils who were called up either to the national or youth team of Kazakhstan. The bbabo.net correspondent explains why many of them ended up not being in demand in their home club.

In the current off-season, Karaganda have already parted ways with three pupils, among them Jean-Ali Pairuz, Gevorg Nadzharyan and Oralkhan Omirtaev. All the players are quite young, but Shakhtar did not keep them. Pyrouz showed promise for several years, but so far there has not been a single stable and even season in his career. Therefore, the decision on the winger is quite understandable.

Najaryan, apparently, wants to try himself in a foreign championship, while Shakhtar, according to him, offered to extend the contract.

The strangest thing is the parting with Omirtaev. The forward of the Kazakhstan national team returned only last year and generally showed himself well, but instead the club decided to return another striker - Tokhtar Zhangylyshbay, he is also a pupil, but he is 28 years old, and the player missed the entire last season, undergoing recovery from a serious injury.

In addition to Zhangylyshbay, Shakhtar brought back another experienced attacking player - Roman Murtazaev. Whether both will be able to restart their careers at their home club is a big question.

If we recall the past years, then the relations with the pupils at Shakhtar again develop imperfectly. So, Dmitry Bachek (player of the youth team of Kazakhstan), Vladislav Vasiliev (player of the national team, champion of Belarus) and Matvey Gerasimov left the team.

Now Shakhtar have returned young goalkeeper Yegor Tsuprikov, plus the team has defender Tair Nurseitov, midfielder Abylaikhan Nazimkhanov and forward Ivan Sviridov.

In general, the Karaganda club continues to generate a lot of talented players, but sometimes these players are revealed in other clubs, while the Pitmen themselves involve a huge number of foreigners (in KPL-2021, Shakhtar was the leader in the number of foreign players).

Yes, it does not always depend on the club. For example, last year Magomed Adiev noted that agents are already influencing the same Sviridov and this stops the player's progress.

However, it is necessary to work in this direction, because, as we see, Shakhtar could well build the main backbone of the team around their pupils - there are resources. And if you look at the standings of last season, we will notice that Taraz, which focused on local players, took tenth place, and Shakhtar seventh, the distance between the clubs was four points. Is it such a significant difference to spend much more and invite dozens of foreigners?
