The Russian biathlon team took fifth place in the mixed relay at the European Championships in Arber, Germany.

Russian biathlete won silver at the European Championship Biathlon The winners of the race were the biathletes of the Norwegian team, who showed a total time of 1 hour 17 minutes 44.9 seconds. The Norwegians used 11 extra rounds and also drove two penalty loops.

The second place was taken by the German team (+18.6 seconds; two laps + 13 additional rounds). Switzerland finished third (4:53.7; 5+18).

The Russians were 5 minutes 6.4 seconds behind the leaders, driving five penalty loops and using 21 extra cartridges.

Vasily Tomshin, Petr Pashchenko, Larisa Kuklina, Anastasia Shevchenko took part in the relay as part of the Russian national team.
