“I was upset. Because I couldn’t complete the journey to the end as much as we were preparing. I can’t say that something got in the way. There is no one’s fault, only mine,” Galysheva said during an online press conference.

Recall that in Beijing, Galysheva was able to reach the second final and became 11th. For her, these Games were the fourth in her career. She will turn 30 in October.

At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, the Kazakhstani became the 11th, in Sochi-2014 - the seventh, and in Pyeongchang she climbed to the podium, winning bronze.

The next Winter Olympic Games will be held in 2026 in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
